New Delhi, Aug 16: Taking a jibe at BJP president Amit Shah in a lighter vein, his Congress counterpart Rahul Gandhi blamed the former when his microphone went off at a public event in the national capital.
The incident was reported on Thursday, when Rahul Gandhi was addressing the Sanjhi Virasat Bachao Sammelan (Save the Composite Culture) event in Delhi.
As soon as his mic turned dysfunctional due to a technical glitch, Rahul Gandhi evoked laughter from the gathering saying Amit Shah is responsible for the gaffe.

Before his speech was abruptly interrupted, the Congress chief launched an attack on the Narendra Modi government, accusing it of "destroying the composite culture" of the nation.
"India is known as the golden bird due to its composite culture," Rahul said, adding that the incumbent ruling regime in Delhi wants to put this bird "inside a cage".
