Notification for the sixth phase polls, which includes the seat of Vaishali, was released by the Election Commission of India (ECI) on April 16. Aspirants from the seat were allowed to file their nominations till the date of April 23. The Mahagathbandhan has fielded senior RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh from the seat, whereas, the NDA candidate is LJP's Veena Devi.
