Lucknow, November 16: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday took note of the alleged audio clip doing rounds of minister Swati Singh and summoned the minister for allegedly threatening a police official in Lucknow. Earlier, minister Swati Singh was heard threatening Lucknow Cantt CO Binu Singh on the phone in connection to the FIR registered against Ansal Group. Ansal Group is said to be on the radar in alleged fraud cases and a FIR was recently filed against the fraud mired Ansal Group.
UP CM Yogi Adityanath is said to have asked for a report from UP DGP in the matter. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also named in the audio of the conversation by minister Swati Singh.

In the alleged conversation doing rounds, the minister can be heard asking the police official to not file an FIR. Swati Singh, minister in the Yogi Adityanath government, was heard telling Lucknow Cantt CO Binu Singh to not file an FIR in the fraud mired Ansal Group as the matter was in consideration by the higher authorities. When the police official said that an FIR was already registered in the case, the minister got angry and asked the police official not to go ahead in the case as UP CM himself was looking into the matter, claimed the minister.
