Varanasi, May 19: With the polling in 13 constituencies of Lok Sabha underway in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, the serious allegation by people have been raised that their fingers have been inked on Saturday night by miscreants in Chandauli. Also, allegations were made by the people that they have been given Rs 500 allegedly by BJP workers.
As per the initial details, residents of Tara Jivanpur village in Chanduali, near Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency of Uttar Pradesh, alleging that miscreants arrived on Saturday night and inked their fingers. Claiming that the goons were BJP workers, a villager said, "They were from BJP and asked us if we'll vote for the party. They told us now you can't vote. Don't tell anyone." Along with this the villagers also claim that they were given Rs 500 yesterday by three men of their village.

It is to be known that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is contesting from Varanasi Lok Sabha seat and these incidents dampen the spirit of people from further supporting BJP in future, claim the villagers. Considering it is the last phase, it is upto the Election Commission to take the issue and act accordingly.
