Lucknow, September 8: Uttar Pradesh minister Mukut Bihari Verma on Saturday said that the Ram Mandir will be built in Ayodhya at the disputed land. The minister added that the matter is in the Supreme Court and said that the temple constrution is certain as "the Supreme Court is ours". Verma, a senior minister in the Yogi cabinet was talking to journalists in Bahraich, and first said in his statement that BJP has come to power on the issue of development but Ram Mandir will be constructed as it is a matter close to the party's heart.

On September 3, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on had declared that people were hopeful that a grand Ram temple will be built in Ayodhya and had said that "Lord Ram will decide its date" when asked about the construction of the temple. "A grand Ram temple will be built in Ayodhya. The people are very hopeful. Ramji will decide its date. But it will be built definitely," Adityanath said at an event in Lucknow organised by a media house.
