UP Congress Spokesperson Exam 2018: Candidates Asked to List Modi Government's Failures; Cheating Through Internet, Paper Leak on WhatsApp Reported

Lucknow, June 29: The Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) on Thursday conducted an examination for the selection of spokespersons in the state and the test is making headlines for not one but several reasons. From questions on Narendra Modi government's 'failures' to cheating reports and exam leak, the UPCC test has been making news over the past two days.

'List Failures of Modi Government'

In the test that was conducted for Congress party members on Thursday, 14 questions were asked which were to be answere in about 30 minutes. Among these questions were, "List failures of Yogi Adityanath government, list failures of Modi government and list achievements of the Manmohan Singh government." The candidates were also asked about the number of districts and blocks in UP.

Besides this, the candidates were also asked to write down three headlines from Thursday's newspapers that needed the Congress party's reaction. Questions were also asked about the vote share of Congress in Lok Sabha Elections 2014.

Cheating in UPCC spokesperson exam

Reports also came in that the Congress candidates allegedly cheated during the examination that was conducted on June 28. Reports say that some candidates took the help of the Internet in writing the answers to some questions.

Question Paper Leaked on WhatsApp

According to reports, the question paper of the UP Congress spokesperson exam was leaked on WhatsApp much before the test on Thursday. A Congress worker reportedly clicked a photograph of the question paper and circulated it on WhatsApp. However, there was no change in the schedule of the exam and nearly 70 Congress party members took the test on Thursday.

The exam was conducted at the UP Congress headquarters in Lucknow. The results of the UPCC spokesperson exam will be released over the next few days from Delhi, after which the names of the selected spokespersons will be announced.
