Mumbai, November 28: Uddhav Thackeray on Thursday took oath as chief minister of Maharashtra at Mumbai's Shivaji Park. The Shiv Sena chief is the leader of "Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi", an alliance of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Congress and Shiv Sena. As soon as he took the Chief Minister's seat, congratulatory messages started pouring in for Uddhav Thackeray. PM Narendra Modi in a tweet said, "Congratulations to Uddhav Thackeray Ji on taking oath as the CM of Maharashtra. I am confident he will work diligently for the bright future of Maharashtra."
