Dhalai, Mar 3: The Dhalai district of Tripura was swept red in the previous assembly elections as five of the six seats here were won by the Manik Sarkar-led Communist Party of India (Marxist). Will the CPI(M) repeat the mandate? Or will the BJP make inroads into the district? The results would be known shortly as counting of votes polled in the Tripura Assembly Elections 2018 are scheduled to begin at 8 am. In the 2013 elections, the Ambassa, Chawmanu, Kamalpur, Raima Valley and Surma seats were won by the CPM, whereas, the Congress retained the constituency of Karamchara. Below are the live results and trends emerging from the six seats in Dhalai district:
