Kolkata, May 23: The current trends of the counting of votes of the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress candidate from Kolkata Dakshin seat - Mala Roy - is leaping towards a massive victory. The sitting TMC parliamentarian is one of the most popular candidates in the constituency and is ahead of the nearest candidate - BJP's Chandra Kumar Bose - by over 4 lakh votes. She has garnered the support of 59.69 supporters, while Bose is trailing with 308270 votes. Congress's Mita Chakraborty is on the third spot with 47561 votes while CPM's Nandini Mukherjee is snorkelling with 110932 votes. Among other candidates, who are on the verge of sweeping the elections are Mimi Chakraborty, Babul Supriyo, Nusrat Jahan, Deepak Adhikari, Abhishek Banerjee and others.

As per the trends of the results, shared by the Election Commission, TMC is leading in 24 constituencies, BJP in 17 and Congress in 1. Left Front is yet to open its account in the number tally.
