New Delhi, April 8: In one of the final major surveys ahead of the commencement of Lok Sabha elections 2019, another term is being predicted for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The opinion poll conducted by Times Now-VMR predicts the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to win 279 seats -- seven more than the halfway majority mark.

If the opinion poll predictions turn out to be accurate, it would result into nearly 50 seats less than what the NDA had won in 2014. The coalition had then, under the leadership of PM Modi, won 334 constituencies. The BJP alone had wrested 282 seats -- forming the first single majority government in the last 30 years. ABP-Nielsen Opinion Poll: SP-BSP Mahagathbandhan to Win 42 UP Seats in Lok Sabha Elections 2019.
