According to the reports, Phogat has over 1,21,500 followers on TikTok, but she follows on 47 people. Considering the previous track record, Phogat had tried her luck acting had worked in some of the television soap opera. Following this, she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party a couple of years back just before her husband Sanjay Phogat's death in 2016 and in no time she became the vice-president of BJP-women cell in Haryana. However, she continued to make viral videos for social media and became popular with time. Soon after the announcement of candidature, her followers on TikTok have multiplied.
Phogat will contest from Adampur constituency, the Bishnoi’s home turf, against Congress leader Kuldeep Bishnoi. BJP is taking utmost care in selecting the candidates for Haryana Assembly Elections. Recently, the most famous face of Haryana Sapna Chaudhary joined BJP. The Assembly elections will take place in Haryana on October 21, and the results will be declared on October 24.
