New Delhi, July 15: Navjot Singh Sidhu cannot pick and choose ministries as generals cannot refuse work given to them, said Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Monday speaking about the resignation row hitting his government. Saying he has not seen the content of Sidhu's resignation letter, the Chief Minister said that "there should be some discipline".

Explaining the rationale behind changing Sidhu's portfolio from Tourism and Culture, he said it was crucial assignment as Punjab was reeling under power crisis and he needed a hands-on minister to do the job. Sidhu had on Sunday handed over his resignation to party leader Rahul Gandhi.
