Anam Vivekananda Reddy, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader, passed away early today morning at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS). According to a Times of India report, the 67-year-old man was undergoing treatment in the hospital for the last one month and was also on ventilator due to his failing health. When he was at the hospital, CM Chandrababu Naidu had called to check on his health. Today post Anam's death, Naidu has expressed his condolences through a tweet.
Reportedly, Anam was one of the most active party members in his native Nellore district. His last rites will take place on Thursday. On hearing about his demise, family members and friends have started gathering at his native village.
Anam was a long-time Congressman, but left the party in post-bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and joined TDP.
