Telangana: Body of TRS Leader Narayana Reddy Found in Vikarabad After He Was Stoned to Death
According to a tweet by CNN News 18, the TRS leader had an internal scuffle with a rival gang in the village. At present, the police have ruled out any political involvement.
Hyderabad, November 6: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader Narayana Reddy was on Tuesday stoned to death in Vikarabad district. According to a tweet by ANI, the body of TRS leader was found on Tuesday morning, after he was allegedly stoned to death. Following the incident, two Congress workers were beaten up by the leader's supporters. They have been admitted to a hospital in the nearby area. The Police has begun an investigation into the matter. A case is yet to be registered.
According to reports, the TRS leader had an internal scuffle with a rival gang in the village. At present, the police have ruled out any political involvement. The polling in Telangana will take place in a single-phase on December 7, while counting of votes will take place on December 11.
The state is gearing up for the upcoming elections in the state. Reports inform that the TRS and BJP leaders allege that if the Congress-TDP alliance comes to power in Telangana, it would be Naidu who would be calling the shots from the Andhra Pradesh the capital of Amaravati. It must be noted that Telangana was carved out of Andhra Pradesh in 2014. The TDP was formed in Hyderabad, now the capital of Telangana, the TDP spokesperson recalled. Reports inform that if there is a common thread in campaign theme of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the BJP in the December seven Assembly polls, it's certainly their unsparing attack on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu.
