Patna, June 6: A day after Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tej Pratap Yadav stirred a controversy with his tweet hinting at his retirement from politics, his brother Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday broke his silence and said people shouldn’t make a mountain out of a molehill.

Tejashwi said it is very evident Tej Pratap spoke on strength of the party and he spoke about how to unify and strengthen our party, ahead of 2019 (general election) & 2020 (Bihar assembly election).

Tejashwi said all are working to strengthen the party and one shouldn't make mountain out of a molehill. “We must focus on discrepancies on education, how students were given 38 out of 35 marks, how 44 young girls were raped. If you ignore this, Bihar isn't going to benefit at all”, he said. “Unhone spasht kaha hai Tejashwi kaleje ka tukda hai. He is my brother & guide”, Tejashwi Yadav was quoted by ANI.

On Saturday, Lalu’s elder son Tej Pratap hinted at his retirement from politics reportedly claimed that there were some anti-social elements in the RJD who were trying to create a feud between the Yadav brother. Tej Pratap, who is a former state minister in Bihar on Saturday referred to ‘Mahabharata’ and said he is of the opinion that he should leave the empire for Arjun (his brother Tejashwi Yadav).
