Patna, May 19: In an incident caught on camera, purported supporters and personal security guards of RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav were seen thrashing a camera person for allegedly breaking his car's windshield. The incident was reported near a polling booth in Patna, where Tej Pratap had came to cast his vote. On returning from the polling station, the Yadav scion's supporters found the windscreen of his car broken. Suspecting the camera person on spot of damaging the vehicle, they launched a physical attack on him.

Following the incident, Tej Pratap Yadav claimed that his personal security guards were not involved in the assault. On the contrary, he registered an FIR at the local police station, saying that his car's windscreen was attacked as part of a larger "conspiracy" to assassinate him.

"My bouncers have not done anything. I was leaving after casting my vote when a photographer hit the windscreen of my car. I have filed an FIR in the incident. A conspiracy is being hatched to kill me," he said.
