Maneka Sanjay Gandhi of the Bharatiya Janta Party won from the Sultanpur Lok Sabha Constituency in Uttar Pradesh. Maneka defeated Chandra Bhadra Singh of the Bahujan Samaj Party with a margin of 14,526 votes. The elections here were conducted on May 12, 2019 as per the Phase 6 schedule. The last general election in the year 2014 was won by Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Varun Gandhi who bagged the total of 4,10,348 votes and is the current MP on the seat. He defeated Pawan Pandey by a margin of 1,78,902 votes. In third place stood Samajwadi Party's Shakeel Ahmad with a total of 2,28,144 votes.
