New Delhi, June 17: The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) jabbed Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Twitter, after the latter took to social media to congratulate Team India on their win against Pakistan in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Shah had, in his tweet, used the phrase "another strike" while thumping up the Indian side.

"Another strike on Pakistan by Team India and the result is same. Congratulations to the entire team for this superb performance. Every Indian is feeling proud and celebrating this impressive win," Shah said.

The phrase "another strike" is considered to be a veiled reference to the surgical strikes carried out by Indian forces in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir in 2016 and the airstrikes in Balakot on February 26 this year.

RJD, the principal Opposition party in Bihar, picked on the Union Home Minister on the outbreak of Encephalitis in the state. The party asked the BJP veteran to conduct a strike against the fatal disease, which has claimed at least 100 lives so far.

Here's What the RJD Tweeted:

Although the RJD has stated the death toll as 200 plus due to encephalitis, official sources have pegged it at 100 as of Monday, while adding that around 300 children are being treated in intensive care units.

In view of the high number of casualties, Bihar Chief Minister called for a high-level meeting today. Teams of the Union Health Ministry is also acting on war-footing in Muzaffarpur district -- the epicentre of the disease outbreak in Bihar.
