New Delhi, April 6: Breaking her silence after months, United Progressive Alliance (UPA) chairperson Sonia Gandhi on Saturday slammed the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party for allegedly creating a situation where freedom of rights is being curbed, and people are being taught a lesson of patriotism by those who do not accept diversity of the country.

Addressing a political rally in the national capital on Friday, the senior Congress leader stated, "Today we are being taught a new definition of patriotism.
