Bhopal, October 15: Shiv Sena on Monday released its first list of candidates for the Madhya Pardesh Assembly elections 2018. Shiv Sena announced 21 candidates in its first list for Madhya Pradesh Assembly polls. The party has not formed an alliance with its traditiona allly the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for Assembly elections in the state.
The elections for 230 seats of Madhya Pradesh Assembly will be held on November 28. Counting of votes will take place on December 11, and results will be announced the same day. The tenure of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly ends on January 7, 2019.

In Madhya Pradesh, the prime contest is between the ruling BJP and the Congress. While chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led government is trying to win for consecutive 4th term, the Congress, led by Kamal Nath, is fighting for winning the state after 2003.
