The party also appointed Devendra Yadav, Rajesh Lilothia and Haroon Yusuf as working presidents. On January 4, resigned as chief of the DPCC. Though sources claim that Maken might have given health reason for his resignation, with the current stats available, Congress could consider giving the 54-year-old leader a new central role or even contesting the Lok Sabha election.
Dixit was the longest serving chief minister of Delhi for 15 years from 1998 to 2013. She was also sworn in as Governor of Kerala on 11 March 2014. However, she resigned on 25 August 2014.
