New Delhi, Sep 2: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor is known for making scathing attacks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on various policies of the government. In a recent interview, Shashi Tharoor expressed his secret desire - to hack into PM Modi's social media accounts. Although, he said it on a lighter note, the motive behind hacking into PM Modi's social media accounts was much serious.

Shashi Tharoor was asked that if given a chance, whose social media accounts he would like to hack into. Responding to the question, the eloquent Congress leader said he would want to hack into PM Modi's social media accounts. He added that he wanted to reveal the truth behind the rhetoric the prime minister resorts to. "Imagine if I got on to hacking Narendra Modi's account and managed to tell the truth about the rhetoric," Tharoor was quoted as saying.

During the conversation, Tharoor also revealed that he a role in a Salman Khan movie. "The irony is that after I came into Indian politics, I started getting movie offers. Why didn't these come when I was young and handsome?" he said. On Sunday, Tharoor made another attack on the Modi government and said demonetisation was a futile exercise.

After demonetisation, 99.3 per cent of notes have returned. Then why were people made to go through so much difficulty? What was its benefit? The government has no answers," the Congress MP from Thiruvananthapuram said.
