Bhopal, December 11: The results for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections 2018 will be declared today. The counting of votes has begun in MP as well as four other states that went to polls in November and December. We are bringing you updates on the results for sixĀ MP Vidhan Sabha constituencies -Ā Sarangpur (SC), Susner, Agar, Shajapur, Shujalpur, Kalapipal. Voting for the MP Assembly polls was held on November 28 in a single phase. The exit polls have not been able to predict a clear picture of whether the BJP or the Congress would win the state. Sarangpur (SC) Assembly Seat
The Sarangpur (SC) seat has been with the BJP since 2003. The party has fieldedĀ Kunwarji Kothar, who also won the 2013 polls on this seat for the BJP. Kothar is up againstĀ Kala Mahesh MalviyaĀ of the Congress andĀ Durgesh AhirwarĀ of the BSP.
Susner Assembly Seat
The Susner seat in MP has been a BJP-ruled seat since 2003. The BJP has fieldedĀ Murlidhar Patidar, who won the 2013 MP Assembly Poll on this seat. Patidar has been fielded againstĀ Mahendra Singh PariharĀ of the Congress andĀ Phool Chand MalviyaĀ of the BSP.
Agar (SC) Assembly Seat
The Agar seat has mostly been a BJP-ruled seat. The 2013 election on this seat was won byĀ Manohar UntwalĀ of the BJP, who has once again been fielded by the party this election. Untwal is up againstĀ Vipin WankhedeĀ of the Congress andĀ Govind SuryavanshiĀ of the BSP. The AAP has fieldedĀ Babilal MalviyaĀ here.
Shajapur Assembly Seat
While Shajapur had been a Congress dominated seat since 1993, in 2013,Ā Arun BhimawadĀ of the BJP had won this seat. The BJP has this year again fielded Bhimawad. He is up againstĀ Karada HukumsinghĀ of the Congress andĀ Choukhutiya RajendrasinghĀ of the BSP.
Shujalpur Assembly Seat
The Shujalpur seat has been with the BJP since 2003.Ā Jaswant Singh Hada of the BJP won this seat twice in 2008 and 2013. This year, the BJP has fieldedĀ Inder Singh ParmarĀ on this seat againstĀ Ranweer Sikarwar of the Congress andĀ Jay SinghĀ of the BSP.
Kalapipal Assembly Seat
The Kalapipal seat has been with the BJP since the past two polls. The party has brought backĀ Babulal Verma, who had won this seat in 2008 elections. Verma is contesting againstĀ Kunal ChoudharyĀ of the Congress andĀ Rajesh BadodiyaĀ of the BSP.
