Ajit Pawar is With Us, Uddhav Thackeray to be Maharashtra CM For Next 5 Years, Says Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut

Mumbai, November 26: The drama in Maharastra politics has intensified as Ajit Pawar resigned from the post of Deputy CM a few hours back. This happened before the Maharashtra floor test which was scheduled to happen tomorrow. Commenting on the matter, Sanjay Raut, Shiv Sena said, "Ajit dada has resigned and he is with us. Uddhav Thackeray will be the Chief Minister of Maharashtra for 5 years."

Ajit Pawar has submitted his resignation to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. According to the latest development, Devendra Fadnavis has also tendered his resignation at a press conference which he called at 3:30 pm today. Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court gave its verdict on a joint petition filed by Congress-NCP-Shiv Sena against the decision of Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari to invite the BJP to form a government. The Court further laid a few guidelines and mentioned that the floor test will be conducted by a pro-tem speaker. The session will be telecasted live and it will be an open ballot system test. The senior-most MLA of the House will be appointed as the Protem Speaker
