Sachin Pilot Sends Legal Notice to Congress MLA Giriraj Singh Malinga for His Rs 35 Crore Bribery Allegation

Jaipur, July 22: Sachin Pilot, former deputy chief minister of Rajasthan has served a legal notice to Congress MLA Giriraj Singh Malinga for his Rs 35 crores bribery allegation. Malinga had alleged that the rebel Congress leader (Pilot) had offered him money to join the BJP. Reports inform that Malinga is in the Gehlot camp and staying at a hotel on Delhi highway along with other MLAs. On Monday, Malinga had alleged that rebel party leader Sachin Pilot had offered him money to join the BJP adding that talks were held at Pilot''s residence. Malinga further told reporters that following Pilot's offer, he had alerted Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot about the conspiracy to topple the Congress government in Rajasthan. "I had a talk with Sachinji. He offered me money to join the BJP, but I refused, saying I will not join the saffron party," Malinga had said. Malinga, the former Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA from Badi, along with five other legislators of the Mayawati-led party, was inducted into the Congress in September last year. Earlier this month, Pilot was removed from the posts of Deputy Chief Minister and the PCC President. Two other Pilot-loyalist Ministers -- Vishvendra Singh and Ramesh Meena -- were also removed from the council of ministers. Soon after Pilot was divested from the posts, Pilot took to Twitter and said that truth can be disturbed but cannot be defeated.
