Kota, October 3: Rajasthan Congress president Sachin Pilot lashed out at the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti saying that farmers in the state are committing suicide but Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje is busy with her 'Gaurav Yatra'. On Raje's previous claim that she will fight for the state like a lioness, Pilot said that she "is a lioness but her biggest hunt is farmers." While criticizing the CM, he said, "Maharani Sahiba has no time to care for poor. Now the People who gave her 163 seats in the last election are ready to teach her a lesson. Her government will be uprooted in the next election."

Former ministers Bharat Singh, Bhanwar Lal Meghwal, Shanti Dhariwal, Ashok Bairwa and several other leaders of the party were also present at the event and addressed the public function.

He added that Vasundhara Raje has lost a good opportunity as she was having a chance to develop the state because her party was in power in the Centre too. Pilot's remark comes days ahead of Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2018, likely to be held at the end of this year.
