Mahendra Nath said Yogi Adityanath has chalked out a strategy to erect Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

"Yogi Adityanath is not only a chief minister but also a saint. He surely has plans for Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Wait for Diwali, a good news will be announced," the state BJP president told reporters. Earlier today, RSS spokesperson Bhaiyyaji Joshi said the organisation would plan a 1992-style agitation if the need arises. “Avashyakta padi to karenge (We will do so if the need arises)," Joshi said. He also expressed disappointment over the Supreme Court order to list the Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi title suit in January 2019 for fixing the date of hearing.

Joshi said the apex court's verdict should favour the sentiments of the majority population, Hindus. "Ram lives in our hearts but is accessible to people through temples. We want the temple to be built. Though there are hindrances in the path, we hope the Supreme Court would consider Hindu sentiments before reaching a verdict," the RSS spokesperson said. Ayodhya Act 1993: When Congress Passed Law For Construction of Ram Mandir And BJP Opposed it.

On Thursday, BJP MP Rakesh Sinha said he will bring a private member’s bill for construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Sinha asked opposition leaders including Congress president Rahul Gandhi whether they will support it. He said the onus is now on the opposition leaders and he is asking a clear-cut question as now is the time to separate truth from lies.
