Jaipur, October 22: Rajasthan Bhahujan Samaj Party (BJP) workers on Tuesday blackened faces of party's national coordinator Ramji Gautam and former BSP state incharge Sitaram. The workers also paraded both the leaders on donkeys and garlanded them with shoes in Jaipur for allegedly involvement in anti-party activities. The incident took place out outside the BSP office. The workers also alleged that the leaders had been selling tickets for elections. Reacting to the incident, BSP chief Mayawati condemned the action of the party workers. The BSP chief also hit out at the Congress over the incident. Gautam was appointed as a national coordinator by Mayawati after 2019 Lok sabha elections in June. In September all the six MLAs of the BSP joined the Congress. The BSP chief then dissolved state committee of the party. In 2018  elections for 199-member Rajasthan Assembly, the Congress had won 100 seats, while the BSP bagged six seats. The Mayawati led-party had extended support to the Congress.
