Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2018: Amit Shah Alleges Vijay Mallya And Nirav Modi Had Partnership With Congress Government
Alleging that Vijay Mallya and Nirav Modi had partnership with the previous Congress government, BJP chief Amit Shah sought answers from Rahul Gandhi.
Nagaur, November 30: Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah on Friday attacked the Congress chief Rahul Gandhi for supporting fraudster Nirav Modi and Vijay Mallya. He was of the opinion that Mallya and Modi had partnership with the Congress government and that is why they were given loans, but soon the BJP came to power they fled the country as they were scared of the Narendra Modi government.
Addressing an electoral rally at Karwasra in Naguar on Friday, the BJP president said the Union government will recover every pie of the looted money from the country. He said, “He (Rahul Gandhi) asks why did Nirav Modi and Mallya run away? These loans were lent during your tenure. They didn’t run away during Congress government as they had a partnership. Attacking Gandhi, Shah opined that the former is daydreaming of forming the government in Rajasthan. He said, “I saw Rahul Gandhi’s speech in which he was saying that Congress will make government in Rajasthan, my suggestion to him is not to day dream.” Adding more he reiterated his words that Congress has no leader to represent Rajasthan, He said, “In Congress, there is no leader, no policy. Now what will you people decide.”
Attacking Congress leader Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra, Shah said that the later benefited from the UPA government and was involved in land scams. He said, “Today the front page of Indian Express says that a company got a loan of thousands of crores and its commission reached Nehru family’s son-in-law with which he bought 150 hectares of land. I want to ask Rahul Gandhi if he can answer now.”
Claiming that BJP will form the government in Rajasthan under the leadership of Vasundhara Raje, the party president said, “Nagaur is going to lay the foundation of BJP government in Rajasthan.” In his electoral speech, he boasted the development work done by Raje government. He said that under Raje’s rule, girls studying in class 11, are getting Rs 11,000 as financial aid.
The elections in Rajasthan will take place on December 7 and the results will be declared on December 11, along with the fate of four other states.
