New Delhi, Aug 25: Continuing the offence against the Narendra Modi government on the issue of Doklam, Congress president Rahul Gandhi accused the Prime Minister of failing to raise the issue during his recent bilateral meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Speaking to reporters in London, the Gandhi scion reiterated that Chinese troopers are still present in Doklam -- a claim which the government has profoundly refuted.

On being asked about the details of the report submitted to the parliamentary committee on foreign affairs, Rahul Gandhi said he could not disclose the facts as he is bound by parliamentary privileges.

"Bound by Parliamentary privilege, can't say what was in report...Chinese troops still in Doklam and have built massive infrastructure," the Congress chief said. "I want to add that the Prime Minister has not raised this issue. Instead, he goes in China and has a non-agenda discussion...Somebody comes here, slaps you on your face & you have a non agenda of discussion," he added.

The row in Doklam, the trijuncture region shared by Bhutan and India with China, erupted in May last year when Chinese troops entered into the territory for road construction purpose. They were challenged by the Indian forces, which led to a 73-day standoff.
