New Delhi, December 17: Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, who is part of an official Indian delegation visiting South Korea, met the country's Prime Minister - Lee Nak-Yon - to discuss subjects concerning both the nations. The meeting was elaborate, Gandhi said on his social media handle, with both of them discussing an array of topics including political and economic issues affecting both the nations. "As a part of an official delegation, I today met with the PM of the Republic of Korea, His Excellency, Lee Nak-yon and other officials, in Seoul. We discussed a wide range of issues, including the current political & economic situation in our respective countries," the Gandhi scion said.

Gandhi had unsuccessfully led the Congress and allies into the general elections held in India in April-May 2019. Contesting from two constituencies, he lost from his home bastion of Amethi while won from a record-mandate from Kerala's Wayanad.
