Just two days before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Indian National Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) manifesto and called it a "voice of an isolated man", besides being “short-sighted” and “arrogant.”

New Delhi, April 9: Just two days before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Indian National Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) manifesto and called it a "voice of an isolated man", besides being “short-sighted” and “arrogant.” The BJP released its poll manifesto on Monday for the upcoming general elections. National Security and Foreign Policy: Congress vs BJP Manifesto.

“The Congress manifesto was created through discussion. The voice of over a million Indian people it is wise and powerful. The BJP Manifesto was created in a closed room. The voice of an isolated man, it is short-sighted and arrogant,” Gandhi said in a tweet.

On Monday, Comparing the cover pages of Congress and BJP manifesto, senior INC leader Ahmed Patel said, "On one hand is the public on the cover of Congress manifesto, while the BJP document has only Modi's picture depicting 'me and only me'.
