Bhubaneswar, January 25: Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Friday showed a remarkable sign of a leader in Bhubaneswar, when he reached out to the photographer who tripped and fell down from the stairs in an attempt to get a photograph of the mass leader. The incident took place at Bhubaneswar airport, where Gandhi chopper landed en-route to address the interactive session of ‘The Odisha Dialogue’.

According to the incident, in an attempt to get a glimpse of the Congress president and click a photograph, the photojournalist tripped and fell down from the stairs. Without any delay, Gandhi reached out to the journalist – neglecting his Z-plus security cover – and helped him gaining conscience. Gandhi did not leave the place until he was assured that the journalist is fine and also directed the party leaders to take care of the latter. This is not the first incident where Gandhi crossed the barriers of security cover and met people. Previously too, in his political rallies, he met with people and had interacted with them in their closed circuit to ask their well-being. While such instances have been adding to Gandhi’s image as a humble politician among the masses, rivals have been accusing him of putting up a media show to gain popularity.
