New Delhi, April 6: Congress party president Rahul Gandhi, addressing a poll rally at Chandrapur in Maharashtra, turned the heat on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accused the Prime Minister of "insulting" his guru and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Lal Krishna Advani. However, Gandhi's choice of words have come under strong attack from the leaders of the ruling BJP party. Speaking at the rally, Gandhi said that PM Narendra Modi talks about "Hindu dharma (Hindu religion), but the PM forgot that the most important aspect of Hindu religion is Guru (mentor, teacher). Advaniji is Modi's guru. But have you seen Advaniji's condition? Reacting to Rahul Gandhi's comment on LK Advani, senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj on Saturday asked the Congress president to maintain “some decorum” in his comments. Taking strong objection to Gandhi’s remarks, Swaraj tweeted: “Rahulji – Advani ji is our father figure. Your words have hurt us deeply. Please try to maintain some decorum of your speech.”
