Mumbai, September 27: While the Congress has been revving up its attacks on the government over the Rafale jet issue, the NCP chief Sharad Pawar has said that people "do not have doubts" over Prime Minister Narendra Modi's intentions on Rafale deal. He made this statement while talking to Marathi news channel. He, however, added that there is no harm in disclosing prices of the aircraft, and that the current defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman's handling of Rafale row has led to the confusion in the minds of people. On the other hand, the Congress has been repeatedly attacking the BJP over the Rafale row and alleging corruption charges and violations on PM Narendra Modi. The Congress has also begun a campaign on Twitter, calling the Prime Minister a thief. The Congress has also allegedly accused BJP of stealing Rs 30,000 crore from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).
