Purvi Champaran is one of the key Lok Sabha constituencies of Bihar. The voting for the parliamentary polls 2019 on this seat will take place in the sixth phase on May 12.

Election Commission of India has declared the final results of Purvi Champaran constituency in Bihar, along with other Lok Sabha seats. Radha Mohan Singh of the BJP has been named the winner. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) partner Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded Union Minister Radha Mohan Singh from Purvi Champaran Lok Sabha constituency. In 2014 and 2009 elections also, Mohan had won from Purvi Champaran Lok Sabha Constituency. In 2014 he defeated Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) candidate  Binod Kumar Srivastava with a margin of close to two lakh votes.

The dates for the seven phases are April 11, April 18, April 23, April 29, May 6, May 12 and May 19. Counting of votes in 543 constituencies will be taken up on May 23. Assembly elections will also be simultaneously held in Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha and Sikkim. The Assembly elections in these four states will be held on the day the states choose their Lok Sabha representatives. By-elections to 34 Assembly seats in 12 states, including 18 constituencies in Tamil Nadu will be held simultaneously as well.
