Proddatur, Pulivendla, Punganur, Puthalapattu, Puttaparthi Assembly Elections 2019 Results: Candidates, Names of Winning MLAs of Andhra Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Seats

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections 2019 will be held on April 11. Voting will be held in the state in a single phase, along with voting for Lok Sabha Elections.

The results for the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections 2019 will be announced today. The counting of votes for the 175 constituencies in Andhra Pradesh Assembly began at 8 am and the final list of winners is expected to be out by the end of the day on Thursday. Voting for Proddatur, Pulivendla, Punganur, Puthalapattu, Puttaparthi Vidhan Sabha seats took place on April 11 in Phase 1. In Andhra Pradesh, the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is facing stiff competition from the YSR Congress Party.

In the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections 2014, Rachamallu Siva Prasad Reddy of the YSR Congress party had won the election from Proddatur. While he will be fighting the polls in 2019 for YSRCP as well, the other candidates are Linga Reddy Mallela of the TDP, Kovvuru Bala Chandra Reddy of the BJP and Gorre Srinivasulu of the Congress among others.

The Pulivendla seat was won by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of the YSRCP, who will fight from the same seat this election as well. The other candidates are Venkata Satish Kumar Reddy Singa Reddy of the TDP, Pedaballi Sushma of the BJP and Veluru Srinivasa Reddy of the Congress.

The Punganur seat was won by Peddireddigari Ramachandra Reddy of the YSRCP, who will also be fighting this election. The other candidates are G Madan Mohan Babu of the BJP, N Anesha Reddy of the TDP and S Safiya Naadeemi of the Congress.

The Puthalapattu seat was won in 2014 by M Sunil Kumar of the YSRCP. The candidates for 2019 Assembly poll on this seat are M Babu of YSRCP, L Banuprakash of the BJP, L Lalitha Kumari of the TDP and Chitti Babu Goudaperu of the Congress.

The Puttaparthi seat was won in 2014 by Palle Raghunatha Reddy of the TDP, who is contesting in 2019 for a third term. The other candidates are Duddukunta Sreedhar Reddy of the YSRCP, Kota Swetha of the Congress and Hanumantha Reddy Yalapala of the BJP.

Along with Andhra Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Polls, voting will also be held for Lok Sabha Elections 2019 in the state on April 11. The counting of votes will be held on May 23.
