New Delhi, December 18: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, sister of Congress president Rahul Gandhi, has been away from electoral politics so far. Priyanka Gandhi has restricted her political activities to Amethi and Rae Bareli, parliamentary seats held by Rahul Gandhi and her mother Sonia. According to a report, Priyanka is currently writing a book, to be titled 'Against Outrage', outlining her 'political vision'.

The 300-page book is likely to be released a month before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Times Now reported based on an 'offer letter' from a publisher. The book will be available in English, Hindi and major regional languages. According to the offer letter, the book will have some 75,000 plus words and royalty from it will be shared between Priyanka and the publisher. The submission date for the manuscript is March 2019, a month before the Lok Sabha polls which is going to be a contest between Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While Priyanka avoids the limelight, sources say, she plays an active role in stitching alliances between Congress and regional parties. She was instrumental in bringing Congress and Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party together before assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. She also visited Rahul Gandhi's residence a few times when he was choosing chief ministers for three states.
