Priyanka Gandhi Vadra Makes Debut on Instagram Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections 2019

Days ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, Congress General Secretary and in-charge of eastern Uttar Pradesh made a debut on Instagram last week. Hours after she became active on the social media platform, more than 1,000 people started following the Congress leader.

New Delhi, March 19: Days ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, Congress General Secretary and in-charge of eastern Uttar Pradesh made a debut on instagram last week. Hours after her instagram account became verified, more than 1,000 people started following the Congress leader. Till now, she has posted only two pictures. One of the images was of a recent meeting of the Congress Working Committee at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Memorial, Ahmedabad. Last Month, Priyanka joined Twitter. Gandhi’s micro-blogging account was opened on February 11, the day she started her political campaign in Uttar Pradesh, and within hours the followers multiplied in thousand. Meanwhile, the AICC general secretary is on a three-day ‘Ganga-Yatra’. The Congress leader took a steamer ride from Chhatnag in Prayagraj to Assi Ghat in Varanasi. She will travel 140 km to reach the city of ghats. After performing rituals at the Vishwanath temple in Varanasi, she will again take the steamer ride to Dashashwamedh Ghat. After that, she will leave for the Congress office in Varanasi and interact with party workers during a Holi Milan programme. She will then depart for Delhi on Wednesday evening from Varanasi airport.
