Mumbai, October 23: Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra filed her nomination for the Wayanad Lok Sabha by-election 2024 on Wednesday, October 23, after a massive roadshow in Kalpetta. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra declared assets in her nomination for the upcoming Wayanad bypoll. As per his affidavit filed from Wayanad, Priyanka Gandhi has total assets worth over INR 18 crore.
Of these, Gandhi has movable assets worth over INR 4.24 crore, and immovable property is valued at around INR 13.14 crore. Priyanka purchased a property worth over INR 1.09 crore and spent INR over 5.05 crore on construction after purchase. Gandhi has inherited immovable assets worth over INR 2.10 crore. Gandhi also declared liabilities worth over INR 15.75 lakh in her election affidavit. Priyanka Gandhi has declared her annual income for the Financial Year 2023-24 to the sum of over INR 46.39 lakh. Gandhi earned over INR 47.21 lakh in the FY 2022-23. Shares, Mutual Funds Owned by Priyanka Gandhi
Priyanka Gandhi has a Mutual Fund worth INR 2.24 crore, as she has purchased 13,200 units of Franklin India Flexi Cap-Growth. She also has INR 17.38 lakh in her PPF account in SBI. While Priyanka Gandhi does not own any shares, her husband, Robert Vadra, has a diverse investment portfolio with shares from Usha Martin, Infosys, Tata Power, NIIT, Rail Vikas Nigam, etc.

The Wayanad bypoll was necessary after Rahul Gandhi vacated the seat and chose Rae-Bareili after the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Priyanka will be contesting against LDF's Sathyan Mokeri and BJP's Navya Haridas. Voting in Wayanad will be held on November 13.
