Prashant Kishor Steps Down As JDU Campaign Head in Bihar, Says 'My Role Is to Learn and Collaborate'
Just a few days before the Lok Sabha and assembly elections in the country, JDU’s vice president and India's political strategist Prashant Kishor on Wednesday tweeted about his decision to not head Janata Dal (United) campaign in Bihar.
Patna, March 29: Just a few days before the Lok Sabha and assembly elections in the country, JDU’s vice president and India's political strategist Prashant Kishor on Wednesday tweeted about his decision to not head Janata Dal (United) campaign committee in Bihar. Kishor, on microblogging site Twitter, said, " In Bihar, the NDA is fighting the elections firmly under the leadership of Honorable Modiji and Nitishji. JDU’s responsibility for election campaigning and management is on the strong shoulders of the senior and experienced leader of the party Mr RCP Singh." Kishor joined Janata Dal (United) on September 16, 2018. The poll strategist's first major poll campaign was helping Prime Minister Narendra Modi, them Chief Minister of Gujarat get re-elected for the third time in the 2012 Gujarat Assembly Elections. He also had a major role on BJP absolute majority in the Lok Sabha elections 2014.
