Earlier on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed his monthly radio programme “Mann ki Baat” at 11 AM and shared his thoughts with the people of India and Indians abroad. In his radio programme on All India Radio on Sunday, the Prime Minister extended his greetings to the nation on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan and spoke about the power of Sanskrit language and its link with the Indian culture.
PM Modi also assured justice to Muslim women through Triple Talaq Bill. While addressing the nation in the 47th edition of his 'Mann Ki Baat' radio programme, the Prime Minister said, "The Triple Talaq bill was passed in Lok Sabha, but could not be passed in the Rajya Sabha. But, I would like to assure Muslim women that the entire nation is there with them and we will ensure that they get justice."
