New Delhi, April 5: Prime Narendra Modi on Thursday said that his government worked for the development of people when he was the chief minister of Gujarat. During an interview with ABP News, when PM Modi was asked about his relationship with Muslims, he replied that when he was the CM of Gujarat, he was questioned many times about what he had done for Muslims. The Prime further added that his government never discriminated between Hindus and Muslims and worked for all. The Prime Minister also exuded confidence of winning the Lok Sabha elections 2019. During the interview, he said that for the first time voters want strong government and wave for BJP, and its alliance is stronger than what was in 2014. Speaking on economic offenders like Nirav Modi and Vijay Mallya, PM Modi assured that all those who fled the country would be brought back. The Prime Minister while speaking on demonetisation said that that note ban was a step taken by huge courage which resulted in the betterment of country's economy in the long run. He also claimed that the move in tracking black money and undisclosed income. When during the interview he was asked about proofs of airstrikes on Balakot, PM Modi said that that the biggest proof was given was Pakistan itself by tweeting about the attack.
Meanwhile, the PM will hold election rallies in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The general elections will take place in seven phases from April 11 to May 19. The results will be declared on May 23.
