Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at the Karyakarta Mahakumbh rally in Bhopal on Tuesday said that the Congress government at Centre in the past has been responsible for making Madhya Pradesh a BIMARU state. Speaking at the rally which is being organised on the birth anniversary of Jana Sangh co-founder Deendayal Upadhaya, PM Modi once again attacked the Congress party and told the Congress leaders to introspect. He gave the mantra "Mera booth, sabse majboot booth", to the BJP workers for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh assembly elections.

The rally was reportedly attended by about 10 lakh BJP workers, and marked the BJP's campaign for the upcoming assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh due this year. BJP President Amit Shah also attacked Congress in his speech before the Prime Minister launched an all out attack on the Congress and asked the people of Madhya Pradesh to vote for Kamal or the BJP.
