Noida, March 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched a scathing attack on the opposition during the inauguration of various development projects in Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida. PM Modi said, “Before 2014, there were just two mobile phone manufacturing factories in the country. PM Modi in Greater Noida:
Taking a dig at previous UP governments, the Prime Minister said that earlier Noida was known for various land scams but today Noida is known for the new development opportunities. He further added that Noida is growing as a big hub for Make in India and Uttar Pradesh is changing. In his speech, PM Modi gave credit of the various development projects started by his government to the citizens of the country. The PM also mentioned about the upcoming airport in Jewar. He stated that to improve connectivity from here, the country's biggest airport is being constructed in Jewar. The Prime Minister today inaugurated Pandit Deen Dayal Updhyaya Institute of Archeology. Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath and Union minister Mahesh Sharma were also present at the event. He then inaugurated Noida-Greater Noida metro extension. Meanwhile, Adityanath speaking at the inauguration event of various development projects in Greater Noida, said, “All the tasks which were impossible for Congress, BSP, & SP, have become possible because Modi is there. Namumkin ko mumkin banane ka naam hi hai 'Modi.”
PM Modi today laid the foundation stone of 1320 MW thermal power plant in Khurja, Bulandshahr from Greater Noida. The Prime Minister said, “Earlier, 2.5 crore families were living in darkness. They now live in light.” Adding further, he stated that in the last five years his government set up 1 lakh mW capacity.
