New Delhi, March 3: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is facing flak from the opposition after he cracked a joke on dyslexia, apparently in an attempt to take a jibe at Congress President Rahul Gandhi. The video of PM Narendra Modi's remarks on dyslexia went viral on social media with opposition leaders slamming him for mocking a sensitive subject. PM Modi made the joke during an interaction with students.

PM Modi was interacting with students during the grand finale of Smart India Hackathon being hosted by Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur on Saturday evening. This was an apparent dig at Rahul Gandhi. PM Modi and the students burst into laughter as seen in the video. But PM Modi wasn't done yet. In response to PM Modi's question, the girl replied: "Yes sir, it will work." "Then that will make the mothers of such children very happy," PM Modi commented, to another round of laughter. PM Modi and leaders of his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are known for making fun of Rahul Gandhi often painting him as an immature leader. Many have called him Pappu on camera. Responding to the tag, Gandhi in a recent interview said: "I don’t get disturbed by this (Pappu). I appreciate the attacks from my opponents and I learn from them."
