Parvez Musharraf Warns Pakistan of India's Nuclear Power, Says 'If We Attack With 1 Nuke, India May Finish Us With 20'
The former Pakistan president Parvez Musharraf had claimed that if his country launched even a single nuclear attack on its India, then 'India could finish them by attacking 20 (nuclear) bombs'
Abu Dhabi, February 24: Amid growing tension between India and Pakistan after the terror attack on CRPF convoy in Pulwama on February 14, former Pakistan president Parvez Musharraf had claimed that if his country launched even a single nuclear attack on its neighbouring country, then 'India could finish them by attacking 20 (nuclear) bombs', reports Karachi-based newspaper Dawn.
The former president expressed his opinion while addressing a press conference in Abu Dhabi. He said, as quoted by the daily, "Indian and Pakistan relations have again reached a dangerous level. There will be no nuclear attack. If we would attack India with one atomic bomb, then the neighbouring country could finish us by attacking with 20 bombs. Then the only solution is that we should first attack them with 50 atom bombs so that they cannot hit us with 20 bombs. Are you ready to first launch an attack with 50 bombs?" Post-UNSC Statement on Kashmir, US President Donald Trump Calls Situation ‘Very Very Bad And Dangerous’ Between India and Pakistan.
The former president's reactions come two days after United States President Donald Trump reacted on the growing tension between India and Pakistan. Trump in his speech had called the situation as 'very, very bad and dangerous' and hoped that both the countries would sort out the differences diplomatically.
The US President said, "There’s a terrible thing going on right now between Pakistan and India. It's a very very bad situation, and it is a dangerous situation between the two countries. We would like to see it stop. A lot of people were just killed."
Also, the United Nations Security Council had condemned the terror attack in Pulwama and issued the statement for the first time, which increased problems for Pakistan. It is to be known that the United Nations considers Jammu and Kashmir a ‘disputed territory’ and has not been able to come to a consensus on the definition of ‘terrorism. Due to this, the UNSC has never been involved in past terrorist attacks in the valley.
