Opposition Comes Together: Andhra Pradesh & Telangana CM Ensures Protection to MLAs Over Karnataka State Politics Uproar
The Karnataka state politics is observing uncertainty, as BJP though emerged as a single largest party, but falls short of eight MLAs and has to prove its majority in 15 days.
Mumbai, May 17: Tense situation still prevails in Karnataka as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) formed their government in the southern state earlier today. But, sustaining it will be a big task for the party! To put pressure against the forceful conquering of Karnataka, the opposition parties have come together. After Congress and JDS, the independent MLAs staged a protest outside Vidhan Soudha raising slogans against BJP's dirty politics. Karnataka and Telangana state chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and Chandrashekhar Rao have extended their support to JD(S).
Reports inform that both the CM's ( of Karnataka and Telangana) called JD(S) chief HD Deve Gowda and took a stock of the ongoing political turmoil in the state. Meantime, they also ensured JD(S) to give protection to their MLAs whenever needed. The support comes in view of fear as BJP makes inroads in Karnataka's Telegu dominated belt giving a major blow to KCR and TDP. The entry of BJP in southern regions is considered to be a warning bell for this regionally dominant party for the upcoming elections of 2019, set to be held across the country.
Earlier, in Karnataka, TDP and Chandrababu Naidu found using all possible tactics to dissuade Telugu voters from supporting BJP. In Hyderabad-Karnataka region mostly Telugu speaking people live. But even after slamming BJP by both these dominant leaders, BJP tally increased from 6 to 20 in this elections over here giving a major blow to them. karnataka national general secretary Ram Madhav over the increase in seats said BJP's southward march has begun and people have rejected these leaders politics.

The BJP, which managed to bag 104 seats, still fall short of eight MLAs. However, Governor Vajubhai Vala has asked BS Yeddyurappa to prove its majority within 15 days.
