Omar Abdullah Congratulates Narendra Modi and Amit Shah for BJP’s Victory in Lok Sabha Elections 2019
Omar’s father and National Conference Chairperson Farooq Abdullah is leading on the Srinagar Lok Sabha seat.
Srinagar, May 23: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah took to his Twitter to extend wishes to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over their landslide win in Lok Sabha Elections 2019 as per latest trends. Omar who has been a strong critic of the Narendra Modi-led government at the centre accepted the results with much humility. Omar also pointed out over the exit polls to be correct. Omar’s tweet reads, “So the exit polls were correct. All that’s left is to congratulate the BJP & NDA for a stellar performance. Credit where credit is due PM Modi Sahib & Mr Amit Shah put together a winning alliance & a very professional campaign. Bring on the next five years.”
In Jammu and Kashmir, keeping up with the winning trend across the country, BJP is leading in three seats. It is Jugal Kishore is leading in Jammu, Dr Jitendra Singh is leading on Udhampur seat. While BJP’s Jamyang Tsering Namgyal is also leading from the Ladakh seat but the vote margin is mere.
On the three constituencies, it is National Conference who are maintaining lead. Omar’s father and National Conference Chairperson Farooq Abdullah is leading on the Srinagar Lok Sabha seat. The other two are Mohammad Akbar Lone on Baramulla seat and Hasnain Masoodi on Anantnag seat.
