New Delhi, May 28: Hours after the newly elected Tollywood actors-turned-parliamentarians Mimi Chakraborty and Nusrat Jahan uploaded their first pictures from the premises of Parliament on Tuesday, netizens trolled them on social media for their choice of photo-op. Both the Jadavpur and Basirhat MPs will represent Trinamool Congress in Lok Sabha in the 17th 5-year period of parliament.

On Tuesday morning, both of these two renowned Tollywood actresses reached Parliament to collect their official entry passes to Lok Sabha. Earlier too, these Tollywood actresses were in controversy with their appearances in public during and after the Lok Sabha campaigning. People in Kolkata and Basirhat throng to their rallies just to have a glimpse of their favourite actresses speaking on the issue of politics.

Not only this, the actresses' photos were also uploaded by netizens who hailed them for their appearances in sarees.

Congratulating Mimi and Nusrat, Bollywood director Ram Gopal Verma tweeted, "Wow Wow Wow!!! New MPs from Bengal.. Mimi Chakraborty & Nusrat Jahaan_India is really really progressing ..it’s a welcome relief to see MP’s who are so easy on the eye 🙏🙏🙏"

And now the trolling kicked off. Comparing the two actresses' entry in parliament, a netizen Squint Nayan slammed them by posting the image of BJP MP from Assam - Angoorlata Deka.

It is to be known that Mimi Chakraborty won from Jadavpur seat while Nusrat Jahan won from Basirhat Lok Sabha constituencies in West Bengal. TMC has nine female MPS this year, which makes it the second the highest party among all political parties to women MPs.
